i've heard everyone else on youtube sing "Boyfriend"
more times than hearing Bieber sing it. why is everyone making covers of it? is this the first step for people to take in treating him as a human being and not just cracking jokes of him having a “12 year old girls voice”?
funny how people can easily make fun of him a couple of years ago and then turn around and make covers of his new single as if they were fans of him all along.
have they come to terms that they can’t get rid of him as easily as they were hoping?
make no mistake, i’ve cracked jokes here & there about him and feel bad for doing so. in spite of that i never meant anything by it, but when everyone means nothing by it then it turns into a bigger ordeal than we thought. we need to choose what we say wisely, by “we” i mean myself included, we’re all a work in progress here and make mistakes.
all the same, i’m glad Justin hasnt gotten caught up in anything too crazy. he’s a good kid & a decent role model dating a wonderful gal. let’s hope & pray that the pressure doesnt get to him too harshly. i sure hope that good head on his shoulders will last.
“The first time that Katniss has to go into the cylinder and she goes up into the arena and looks around and sees it for the first time,” says Lawrence. “Knowing that when that trumpet blows she could die. The thing that’s great about her is she’s not a murderer. She’s a hunter, but she’s not a killer. I told Gary, ‘I totally understand if you don’t hire me, but please remember that after Katniss shoots a bow and kills someone her face cannot be badass. It has to be broken.’ She has to be heartbroken because she just took another person’s life. It’s so tempting, especially with a cool, big budget franchise movie, but we have to remember that she’s a 16-year-old girl who’s being forced to do this. These kids are only killing each other because if they don’t, they’ll die. It’s needless, pointless, unjustified violence. So there’s nothing cool about her. It’s not like she looks around the arena and goes ‘Yeah, I got this, I’m going to do this.’ I think she looks around terrified and thinks, ‘Well there are all the million different ways that I can die.”—Jennifer Lawrence on The Hunger Games (via tyleroakley)
“Stars are beautiful, but they may not take an active part in anything, they must just look on for ever. It is a punishment put on them for something they did so long ago that no star now knows what it was. So the older ones have become glassy-eyed and seldom speak (winking is the star language), but the little ones still wonder.”
― J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan
“You can pass or you could fail finals. You still might not get a job. Or you might get a job completely unrelated to anything you’re doing. Everything in this life is a silly silly joke. Just don’t take it too seriously 90% of the time. That seems like the trick to success.”—Phil Defranco (via reallifeawaits)
“Just take a moment to be thankful for the excessive good things you have or the one tiny, barely-there thing that you have. Appreciate that little bit and hold it tight, and know that one day, you will not have it. That’s the way the world works, and that’s why it is so shit, and that is why it is so awesome.”—Philip DeFranco (via clarinetta)
